  The job to replace the oil level indicator and tube begins with unfastening the oil level indicator and its tube bolt afterward extracting the oil level indicator tube from the engine block while verifying the o-ring seal remains intact for reinstallation; check the tube for any damage or cuts before removal if needed. The o-ring seal requires application of clean engine oil before installing a fresh o-ring seal onto the oil level indicator tube when needed. Usually position the indicated tube for oil measurement between the Exhaust Manifold and engine block before supporting the vehicle in an elevated position. Place the oil level indicator tube into the block while keeping its collar level with the block surface and lower down the vehicle. Put both the oil level indicator tube bolt and the oil level indicator into place and fasten them with a torque of 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.).
