How to replace the rear axle upper control arm on Cadillac Escalade EXT?

Vehicle lifting and suspension become necessary before starting the rear axle upper control arm change. If your vehicle includes an ESC sensor you should detach it from the system. Start by taking out the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from where it attaches to the frame bracket. Then remove the upper control arm retaining nut and bolt from the axle bracket before actually removing the upper control arm. The upper control arm installation process begins by positioning the part before tightening the retaining bolt to the axle bracket followed by the retaining bolt to the frame bracket. The suspension must reach its proper curb height before we can tighten the nuts. Secure the upper control arm retaining nut before setting the retention bolts on the upper control arm to a torque value of 160 N.m (118 lb ft).
