How to replace the Brake Booster Vacuum Hose or Check Valve on Cadillac Escalade ESV?

You must disconnect the vacuum Brake Booster check valve from its location inside the booster unit. Disconnect the vacuum Brake Booster hose clamp near the check valve and remove the check valve from its place on the hose. Pull out the Intake Manifold before unclipping the vacuum booster hose at its engine connection until you can bring the hose out of the vehicle. By reaching the engine first you must connect the vacuum Brake Booster hose and subsequently add the vacuum Brake Booster check valve over the hose while keeping it in place with the hose clamp. Connect the vacuum Brake Booster check valve to its final position on the Brake Booster.
