To remove the generator, firstly disconnect the battery negative cable and remove the Drive Belt, radiator support sight shield as well as the upper front generator mounting bolt unless it is already removed. Mount the generator and fasten it to the engine and a/c compressor with finger tightness of all mounting bolts, come the rear generator bracket bolts to the engine upper rear and lower rear mounting bolts lower front mounting bolt to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Connect the wire harness connector to the generator and join the battery positive lead and fix the generator output bat terminal nut by tightening to 12.5 n. M (111 lb in). Bolt down the protective cover to the generator output bat terminal, position the generator access cover to the front compartment lower panel, and tighten the bolts to be 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Mount the engine splash shield and lower the vehicle; mount the upper front mounting bolt with 47 n.m (35 lb ft), and then mount the radiator support sight shield, the Drive Belt, and reconnect the battery negative cable.
