How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on Cadillac DTS?

Before working on the turn signal multifunction switch you need to disable sir system. Uncover the Steering Column and disconnect its multifunction switch retaining screws before separating the electrical wires. When ready attach the new switch's electrical connectors next mount the switch onto the Steering Column. Put back the Steering Column trim covers once you lock the retaining screws with 7 n.m (62 lb in). Finally, enable the sir system.
