  Before starting work on the Turn Signal Switch you must disable the sir system. Remove the screw caps from the upper column and uninstall the steering column screws. Lift off the upper column cover. Take out the steering wheel tilt lever first until you reach the lock cylinder rubber shield. Lift off the lower Steering Column Cover after removing its screws. Use a tool to lower the levers and detach the Turn Signal Switch from the column while removing its power connection. Place the electrical connector onto the Turn Signal Switch then position the switch onto the steering column by locking its tabs. Reattach both parts of the lower Steering Column Cover and fasten its screws while you put back the rubber lock cylinder protector and the steering wheel tilt lever. Realign the upper Steering Column Cover and attach it through screws before refitting the screw caps while enabling the sir system.
