How to replace the battery sensor on Cadillac Escalade?

Before working on the battery current sensor you must disconnect the negative Battery Cable and place tape on top to mark its location. First you need to disconnect the tape and mark where the cable clips are located before removing them from the battery negative cable. Compress both Battery Cable branches together and record how the battery current sensor is positioned before pulling it away from the cables. Press the Battery Cable branches together to put in the Battery Sensor. The new sensor must face and sit properly on the negative cable before pushing it to the marked spot. Wrap electrical tape around the sensor leg to attach it to the cable and put back the Battery Cable clips in their factory places.
