The assembly needs cleaning before the disconnecting pump motor connector which is located at the abscm's bottom. Remove the abscm from the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) while maintaining careful handling of both its seal and solenoid valves by unscrewing abscm to bpmv screws followed by slow abscm separation from bpmv. The bpmv surface requires cleaning with alcohol using a clean rag before abscm installation while the procedure should include only new wave springs and screws from the new abscm supply kit. Secure the abscm onto the bpmv through 6 screws by tightening the top 4 screws to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.) in cross pattern manner before securing the bottom 2 screws to the same torque value. You should reattach the pump motor connector to the bottom part of the abscm as well as the electrical harness connector to the abscm. After installation of the air cleaner assembly, turn on the ignition key to run mode without starting and complete the diagnostic system test.
