How to replace the power seat switch on Buick Rendezvous?

The first step to switch out a power seat switch requires removal of the outer trim panel that sits within the front seat cushion. A flat-bladed instrument helps release the retainers which hold the power seat switch to the outer trim panel so you can remove the switch from the panel. The first step requires the separation of the power seat switch harness from the front seat support before you disconnect its electrical connector from the switch. Attach the electrical connector to the power seat switch before carefully inserting the switch into the outer trim panel until it is fully set. Before installation of the outer seat cushion trim panel put the power seat switch harness on the front seat support in its correct position. Then reinstall the trim panel for the front seat cushion.
