How to replace the Ignition Control Module on Buick Regal?

Before replacing the Ignition Control Module turn the ignition off then disconnect the 14-way connector from the resistor block on the Ignition Control Module (ICM). Before wire removal keep track of spark plug wire placements. Start by removing screws that keep the coil assemblies fixed to the icm. Then extract the coils and the icm out from the bracket. Use the bracket to install the coils and Ignition Control Module before tightening the screws retaining both components to the bracket at 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Follow by connecting the Spark Plug Wires followed by connecting the 14-way connector to the module and using a screw to tighten it to 2.1 n.m (19 lb in).
