    The first step to install a new condenser involves recovering the refrigerant from the system. Start by unscrewing the compressor discharge hose nut and removing the compressor discharge hose that is connected to the condenser. Start by removing the Hood Latch followed by taking off the head lamp housing panel and the radiator diagonal brace. First remove the bolts from the upper radiator support before taking out the support itself. The first step involves removing the evaporator tube nut and cord from the condenser before removing the studs from the condenser inlet and outlets. The first step is to uninstall the condenser lh upper bracket bolt followed by its bracket then remove the condenser to radiator bolts before finally extracting the condenser from the radiator. Install the condenser back onto the radiator while applying oil to the replacement condenser. Secure the condenser to the radiator by using bolts then tighten them to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Begin installation by installing the condenser lh upper bracket bolt and bracket to a torque of 9 n.m (80 lb in). Next, tighten the condenser inlet and outlet studs to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Put back the evaporator tube and evaporator tube nut. Tighten this nut to reach 28 n.m (21 lb in). Install the upper support bar for the radiator along with its bolts at 50 n.m tension before reinstalling the diagonal brace, the housing panel, and the Hood Latch. Fasten the compressor discharge hose to the condenser using the compressor discharge hose nut while tightening it to a torque of 28 n.m (210 lb in). Evacuation and recharging of the a/c system should be completed before performing a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) examination on all connections.
