The valve guide seal job needs the valve spring compressor (J38606) and Spark Plug port adapter (J22794) to complete the valve stem oil seal replacement and valve spring replacement. Start the job by taking off both valve Rocker Arm covers from each side then proceed to remove the Rocker Arm sets and spark plugs. Shift the engine so the Piston in the repair cylinder rests at its topmost position to stop the valve from entering the chamber. Set the Spark Plug port adapter j22794 into the Cylinder Head then push compressed air into the cylinder to block the valves. You can install the valve spring compressor tool j38606 to compress the valve spring before removing the valve keys and all other parts. Use your hand tool to lift the bottom side of the seal and take out the valve stem oil seal. To install the oil seal apply it onto the valve stem over the guide while pressing gently with the valve seal installation tool (J42863) to prevent damaging the oil seal.
