Positive SPM always replace the battery negative side post cable (Side Post) with replacement cables of the same type, diameter, and length of original cables, when routed accordingly. Start by opening the battery negative cable transition block cable protector cover and disconnect from the negative battery cable transition block and side rail of the battery.
