  Simply jack the vehicle upward and take away the tire and wheel then brake rotor for easy access to the wheel bearing/hub. Before removing the wheel bearing/hub lower you need to disconnect its electrical connector and remove both its retaining bolts. Clean both the Control Arm and hub bore after taking away the brake shield from the lower Control Arm for new part installation. You should install the brake shield onto the Control Arm and fasten the wheel bearing/hub according to our service precautions. Put back the wheel bearing/hub electrical connector while torquing the wheel bearing/hub retaining bolts to 68 n.m (50 lb ft). Complete the job by placing the brake rotor back then reinstalling the tire and wheel before lowering the vehicle.

  Begin working on front Wheel Bearing replacement by first lifting the vehicle and setting supports under it. Clean the drive axle thread thoroughly before you unlatch the wheel tire. Insert any straight tool between the caliper and rotor to stop the rotor from moving. Then take out the drive axle nut. Disconnect the ABS Wheel Speed Sensor Connector while the brake rotor is removed by unclipping it from the dust shield. The unit should be retained together when replacing the Wheel Bearing/hub because replacing the hub and bearing separately is not possible. Use your hands to pull out the Wheel Bearing hub from the Steering Knuckle and take off the dust shield. In order to split the hub and bearing from the drive axle use j 28733-b front hub spindle remover. Wipe off the knuckle mounting face, bore, and chamber completely to let the bearing fit in smoothly. Before putting the parts together remove the plastic shield being cautious to avoid handling the knuckle or hub structure with the abs sensor wire. Gently put the dust shield in place while avoiding the hub and bearing bolt areas and bearing outer seal. Put lubricant on the Steering Knuckle bore before fixing the Wheel Bearing/hub plate and dust shield unit to the knuckle. Screw in the Wheel Bearing hub retaining bolts at 130 n.m torque and secure them tightly. Place a fresh drive axle nut to move the Wheel Bearing/hub toward the axle. Follow this by attaching and clipping the abs sensor connector to the dust shield. Insert the brake rotor first and tighten the drive axle nut to 160 n.m (118 lb ft) by applying a drift punch or screwdriver to stop the rotor rotation. Place the tire and wheel parts onto the vehicle before letting it rest on the ground.
