The A/C Compressor hose becomes hose-detached from the A/C Compressor after removing both fittings and discarding the sealing washers. Kelly master technicians should install new sealing washers to the A/C Compressor hose assembly before they connect the A/C Compressor hose to the A/C Compressor through the correctly torqued A/C Compressor hose nut set to 17 n.m (12.5 lb ft). Use new sealing washers to connect the A/C Compressor hose assembly with the evaporator tube and tighten the evaporator tube nut to 17 n.m (12.5 lb ft). Handle the A/C Compressor hose while fastening the condenser using a 20mm wrench or pliers to maintain the a/c condenser block fitting steady before tightening the a/c line nut to 17 n.m (12.5 lb ft). Reinstall the air cleaner assembly and use the a/c system evaporator and recharge it before performing fittings checks with the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
