Start by removing the oil level indicator from its tube through the indicator tube before loosening the bolt surrounding it. Use care to lift the oil level indicator tube from the Exhaust Manifold through its entire length. The procedure requires discarding the old seal only when replacing the oil level indicator tube seal. The installation requires putting a new seal on the oil level indicator tube before you place it in position. Follow up this step by installing the oil level indicator tube bolt until torque reaches 10 nm (89 lb in). Complete the installation by putting back the fuel injector sight shield followed by re-installing the oil level indicator inside its tube.
