The first step for replacing the power seat switch is to uninstall the front seat cushion outer trim panel. Begin by removing the screws which keep the seat switch attached to the trim panel then disconnect the power front seat switch electrical connector. Take the power front seat switch out of the vehicle after its removal. The electrical connector needs to be connected to the power front seat switch with special attention to Fastener Notice instructions during installation. Fasten the seat switch onto the trim panel by applying screws which require a torque of 3 Nm (27 lb in). After completing the task reinstall the front seat cushion outer trim panel.
