How to service the Cabin Air Filter on 2011 Chevrolet Traverse?

In order to service the passenger compartment air filter, unlock the glove box and take out the compartment retainers. It will be necessary to lower the instrument panel compartment assembly, unsnap it, and position the dampener arm so that it fits back into place. Take out the housing cover, change the old air filter and reassemble the parts.
