How to replace the Shift Knob on 2010 Chevrolet Traverse?

In order to change the Shift Knob of the Traverse, park the car using the parking brake and unscrew left extension of the floor console. Unplug transmission tap up/tap down switch electrical connector. Disconnect the shift control knob screw and maneuver the electrical harness over the shift control indicator. Install the components once again and ensure the functionality.
