How to Replace the Front Rack and Pinion Steering Gear on 2010 Chevrolet Impala?

To take off the rack and pinion, hold the steering wheel firmly in place, lift the vehicle and have a drain pan under it. Take out the tire, unscrew the intermediate steering shaft and take out tie rod ends. Reduce frame, remove hoses, and remove rack. Install the new rack, reconnect hoses and do front end alignment.
