Engine oil pressure sensor replacement requires removal of the shield's heat shield nut before moving forward to the sensor and switch. First disconnect the engine oil pressure sensor electrical connector then remove the engine oil pressure sensor. When installing this component make sure to place the engine oil pressure sensor in position before tightening to a torque value of 16 Nm (12 lb ft). Install the engine oil pressure sensor heat shield before connecting its electrical connector. Install the nut and secure it to 10 Nm (89 lb in).
