To replace the camshaft timing chain, sprocket and tensioner, remove the number 1 cylinder spark plug and turn the crankshaft around until the number 1 piston is at top dead center. Remove the camshaft and engine front covers, and then timing chain components. Install the new parts, making sure they are properly aligned and tightened according to the specifications. Reinstall engine covers, spark plug.
