How to replace the rear compartment lid overslam bumper on 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt?

Before starting work open the rear compartment. Turn the outer bumper off the compartment lid using a counterclockwise motion. Attach the outer bumper onto the compartment lid and twist it clockwise to make it secure. Finally, close the rear compartment.
