How to replace the A/C Expansion Valve on 2010 Chevrolet Aveo?

You will have to disconnect the negative battery cable to take out the air conditioning evaporator thermal expansion valve and recover the refrigerant. Take out the retaining nut and bolts and then remove the expansion valve and disposing the O-rings. Wipe the surfaces, put new O-rings and the new valve, and reassemble the battery and charge the system.
