• Q: How to replace the Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe on 2010 Cadillac STS?

  A: First, raising and supporting the vehicle, in order to replace the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe. Take off the front air deflector replacement and put an oil drain pan on the lower side of the vehicle remove the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe from the external oil cooler, and remove the hose/pipe clip from the Fan Shroud, and then from the engine. Take off the external engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe from the engine and the vehicle, and delinking all hose/pipe seals. For installation start by installing new engine Oil Cooler Hose pass kit and attach the existing engine Oil Cooler Hose or pipe to the vehicle making sure the quick connect fitting on the end of the hose or pipe is attached by pushing it and then sliding it back to ensure correct engagement in place. Then, attach the hose/pipe to the engine and clips to the engine and Fan Shroud, and ensure correct engagement of quick connect fitting. Lastly, attach the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipes to the external oil cooler, remove the oil drain pan, install the front air deflector replacement, reinstate the engine with oil, and confirm lack of leakage.
