Replace the front lower control arm rear bolts before you remove and discard the front lower control arm bushing bolt . Install a new bolt into this location. Remember the markings on the bushing before extraction and protect the bushing front on the lower control arm during replacement. The bushing removal process requires positioning the control arm beyond the vehicle's underside. The installation process requires that the new lower control arm bushing goes in so the markings point toward the vehicle's rear while you delay tightening the bushing bolt until the vehicle reaches its standard operating height. Install the new lower control arm bushing bolt first then secure the front lower control arm rear bolts. When the vehicle reaches curb height tighten the lower control arm bushing bolt to 55 Nm (41 lb ft) while turning it an additional 90 degrees.
