The right side Timing Chain installation begins with removing the engine front cover first. Start by removing the right bank Timing Chain Tensioner and continue with the right bank Timing Chain shoe then the right bank Timing Chain Guide. Remove the right bank Timing Chain after the components removal steps. Make sure that stage 1 camshaft timing is accurate before installing the new right bank Timing Chain. You must install the right bank Timing Chain Guide and then the right bank Timing Chain shoe before installing the right bank Timing Chain Tensioner. You should now reinstall the engine front cover.
