How to Change the Shift Knob on 2010 Buick Enclave?

Set parking brake, remove floor console left extension panel. Disconnect tap up/down switch connector, turn key to RUN, move lever back. Pry trim ring to expose screw, remove it and harness, lift knob off. Lubricate, reinstall knob, retighten screw, click ring, return lever to PARK, reconnect harness, reinstall panel.
