Begin by removing the Lash Adjuster guide bolts (211) and follow by extracting the Lash Adjuster guides (210) which also remove the adjusters. Keep track of the guide positioning because their notched area needs to match the engine block's locating tab. After removing the lash adjusters (209) from the guide (210) you should organize or mark components for later reinstallation. Inspection of lash adjusters demands cleaning procedures. After application of engine oil, place and push the lash adjusters (209) into the adjuster guides (210) until complete insertion. The flat top areas of both parts must match the flat area of the bore during insertion. Follow fastener precautions when installing the engine block's lash adjusters and guide (210) assembly before torquing the guide bolts to 12 nm (106 lb in). Reinstall the Cylinder Head after you have installed the gasket.
