    A: The first task for Crankshaft balancer replacement requires belts and fans to be extracted first. The Crankshaft needs protection so a short bolt must be added before using the j 23523-f (Crankshaft Balancer Remover and Installer) to remove the Crankshaft balancer bolt along with washer before proceeding to detach the Crankshaft Pulley along with bolts. The j 23523-f should be used to remove the Crankshaft balancer but the plate bolts must get tightened to 25 nm (18 lb ft) and the forcing screw needs to have its clockwise rotation for removal. Clean the Crankshaft balancer while also inspecting it for damages, write down the weight position and their length. The installation process requires Crankshaft front cover seal greasing if you plan to use it again while also verifying that balancer weights occupy their proper positions. Install the Crankshaft balancer keyway using j 23523-f tool then align the key with Crankshaft key while you push the balancer onto the Crankshaft. Tighten plate bolts to 25 nm (18 lb ft) before placing the forcing screw along with the bearing and washer and nut before moving the nut clockwise to face the reluctor ring. Put the Crankshaft Pulley and its bolts in place and torque them to 58 nm (43 lb ft) and maintain the Crankshaft balancer washer crown on the opposite side of the engine before bolt installation at 95 nm (70 lb ft). Close the process by placing back the cooling fan and Drive Belt.
