How to replace the brake drum on 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

In order to change the brake drum, lift and hold the car, and loosen the tire and wheel assembly. Take off all brake drum retainers and the brake drum, pushing back the brake shoe adjuster as necessary. Then clean the rear axle flange and fit the drum then fit the brakes and re-assemble it.
