How to replace the intermediate steering shaft on 2009 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to change the intermediate steering shaft, tighten the steering wheel and adjust the tilt lever to the LOCK position. Take the tire off the front (left hand side), disconnect the steering gear and column to the intermediate steering shaft. Take off the seal and put in the new shaft with proper fitting and attached the shaft. Install parts and screw screws.
