    A: Starting the Evaporator core air conditioner replacement requires the removal of the hvac module assembly. First remove screws that secure the air outlet duct on the center floor before extracting the duct. You need to drill the lower hvac module case heat stakes followed by removing its screws and case. You should remove the thermal expansion valve screws together with the valve while discarding the sealing washers. Proceed to remove the Evaporator. To install a new Evaporator users should administer pag(R) oil according to the defined quantity and apply it directly before installing the component. Install the Evaporator together with new washers after which place the thermal expansion valve ensuring proper tightening of 7 nm (62 lb in) on thermal expansion valve screws. Place back the lower hvac module case while using 1.5 nm (13 lb in) torque when securing its screws. Reinstall the center floor air outlet duct and its screws where each should be tightened to 1.5 nm (13 lb in). The last procedure requires you to reinstall the hvac module assembly.
