In order to remove the Automatic Transmission Shift Levers, use the park brake and chock the wheels. Unscrew the shift lever cable, taking care not to lose the shift lever nut when doing so, unscrew shift lever. Installation requires holding lever attached by tightening the retaining nut, reattaching the cable and verifying the adjustment.
