How to replace the rear trunk latch on 2009 Chevrolet Aveo?

Start the replacement work by taking off the negative Battery Cable. Take out all screws from the Trunk Latch then disconnect its electrical parts including the cable and lock rod. Join the cable end to the lock then fit the lock rod and electrical plug. Fasten the Trunk Latch in place using the screws while tightening them to 6 nm (53 lb in) and reattach the negative Battery Cable last.
