  A: Start by removing the supercharger assembly in order to replace the Knock Sensor 2. Unplug the electrical connector from the knock sensor (KS). Then remove the bolt that runs through the KS center. Remove the KS unit completely from its position in the engine block. Clean the mating faces of both KS and engine block until the KS makes a direct surface connection with the block. When installing this component keep away all washers and stick to using just the bolt. Make sure to apply the correct torque value before finalizing installation. Fasten the KS along with its bolt to the engine block at 20 Nm (15 lb ft) torque. Verify correct installation of multiple KS retaining clips which secure the wiring harness. Following the electrical connector installation to the KS completes the supercharger reinstallation.
