The first step to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on Bank 1 (Right Side) Exhaust is to turn off ignition power and then take out front compartment sight shields if required. Before removal, disconnect the electrical connector of the camshaft position (CMP) sensor and next remove the CMP sensor bolt alongside the CMP sensor itself. Secure the new CMP sensor to position by using the CMP sensor bolt which should be tightened to 10 Nm (89 lb in). Reattach the CMP sensor electrical connector before reinserting front compartment sight shields according to need.
