In order to change the parking brake shoe, lift and hold the vehicle up and then remove tire and rear brake rotor. Pop the adjuster, pull off the retainer spring on the upper, and the rear shoe. Wipe the backing plate, add lubricant, attach shoes and springs and make sure that they are seated properly. Lastly, adjust the park brake.
