Start the replacement of the fuel level sensor for a 2500 equipped with a 43.5L (11.5 Gal) tank at the rear by performing fuel tank module removal. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector under the module cover before releasing the retaining clip to slide the level sensor down off the bucket. The installation process requires sliding the fuel level sensor up the bucket while allowing it to enter the retaining tab followed by reconnecting the fuel level sensor electrical connector below the module cover then installing the fuel tank module.
