How to replace the Cam Gear Actuator on 2008 GMC Yukon?

In order to replace the camshaft position actuator, loosen the oil pump and dispose of CMP actuator solenoid valve. Do not lose the reluctor wheel when removing it. Unscrew the CMP actuator, timing chain and take them out. Stabilize actuator, tensioner timing chain and make sure they are correctly adjusted during installation. Lastly, refit the oil pump.
