In order to change the Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder, it is necessary to disconnect the negative battery cable and shut off the SIR system. Take out the steering column trim covers, and then release the lock cylinder. To install, position the gears, turn the lock cylinder containing gear and reassemble. Lastly, re-attach the battery cable.
