How to replace the front side door window motor on 2008 GMC Canyon?

To replace the front door window regulator motor, first release the counterbalance spring tension. Remove the window regulator, drill a hole through the bracket and lift arm, and secure the lift arm. Detach the motor, then install the new motor and secure it to the regulator bracket. Reinstall the window regulator.
