How to replace the starter motor on 2008 GMC Acadia?

In order to replace the starter motor, disconnect the negative battery cable. Disassemble the connections of the left catalytic converter, starter heat shield, and starter solenoid. To install it, connect the starter to the vehicle using bolts, re-connect the wiring harness, and re-connect the battery connections. Lastly, reattach the negative battery cable.
