The first step to replace the front side door hinge is to open and support the front door. Security the front door by opening it and remove all hinge bolts intermediately from the front door hinge before pulling it to its full rubber conduit reach. Mark the areas where the front door hinges will attach by using a grease pencil or suitable marker to indicate their positions on both mounting surfaces after cleaning them with a clean rag. You should first remove the bolts from the front doorside hinge followed by taking out the doorside hinge before you remove the bolts from the bodyside hinge and its component hinge. The bodyside hinge should be positioned on marked alignment points before inserting bolts which need to be tightened to 33 N.m (24 lb ft). Lock the front door hinge to the body side hinge then install intermediate hinge bolts to the front door hinge and tighten them at 33 N.m (24 lb ft).
