Prior to installation apply automatic transmission fluid on the input speed sensor seal before placing the input speed sensor and bracket assembly. The installation process begins by applying automatic transmission fluid to the input speed sensor seal before installing the input speed sensor along with its bracket assembly. Fasten the bolt with a torque of 11 N.m (96 lb in). Complete the process by installing and wiring the input speed sensor electrical connector before lowering the vehicle.
