How to remove and replace the Air Bag Clockspring Assembly / Spiral Cable on 2008 Chevrolet Express 2500?

In order to replace the Air Bag Clock Spring Assembly, first turn off the SIR System. Make sure the wheels are straight and the steering wheel is locked. Disconnect the steering wheel and trim covers, remove wire harness straps, and SIR coil. Before the SIR system is enabled, the new SIR coil, cover trimming and reassemble the steering wheel.
