How to Service and Repair a Steering Wheel on 2008 Chevrolet Equinox?

In order to change a steering wheel, shut the SIR system and pull out the inflatable restraint module. Disconnect the switch connector, if it has a cruise control. Unscrew the steering wheel and remove the nut with a puller. Install the steering wheel, reconnect steering cruise control and activate the SIR system.
