How to replace the blower motor resistor on 2008 Chevrolet Colorado?

First disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector before removing its mounting screws and taking out the unit. Put the replacement blower motor resistor in its designated position before fastening it with mounting screws that you should tighten to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in following the Fastener Notice. Reinstall the cable connection to the blower motor resistor.
