The vehicle needs to lift up and find stable support before replacing the transmission front mount. After properly supporting the transaxle with a jack install remove the front transaxle mount thru bolt and the front transaxle mount to transaxle bolts before extracting the front transaxle mount from the vehicle. The mandatory sequence must guide transaxle bolt torque when performing installation. Drill the front transaxle mount into position before torquing the mounting bolts to 90 n.m (66 lb ft). Manual tightening of the front transaxle mount thru bolt lets the front and rear transmission mounts reach equilibrium before fully tightening the thru bolts. Proceed by releasing tension on the rear trans mount thru bolt then proceed with a step-by-step tightening of the transmission mount thru bolts according to this sequence: follow this procedure: begin by tightening the rear bolt to 100 n.m (74 lb ft) and afterward move through to tightening the front bolt to 100 n.m (74 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle.
