How to replace the steering wheel on a hatchback on 2008 Chevrolet Aveo?

A hatchback owner should start their Steering Wheel replacement process by disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Next, remove the sir module. Apply aligning marks to both the Steering Wheel and the steering column shaft before taking out the Steering Wheel nut and retaining clip. Steering Wheel removal requires the kitless model number: km-210-a (KM-210-A) or j 1859-a (J 1859-A) along with its respective puller legs j 36541-a (J 36541-A). To continue you must detach the contact ring installed on the Steering Wheel if it requires disengagement. The contact ring should be reattached only if necessary then both match marks need to be aligned before rotating the signal-canceling cam in a left direction. After installing the Steering Wheel nut tighten it to 38 n.m (28 lb ft) torque before bending the clips to maintain retaining clip position. Complete the procedure by installing the sir module then connecting the negative Battery Cable.
